This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading organization that is focused on delivering an exceptional service to their clients. Based in Surrey/London they are a leading purification company who supply solutions and components into many industries.
Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager has the overall responsibility for the management and business development at designated key accounts with respect to the assigned product groups and works in cooperation with the area sales managers and support engineers within that team.
Understand each customer and anticipate their needs
Appraise their potential
Appreciate sources of risk, cost and profit
Develop appropriate strategies for each customer
Develop better implementation processes
Monitor actions and improve results
Tasks
Proactively and aggressively promote and sells products at key accounts across the brewing, dairy, soft drinks, mineral water, food and pharmaceutical industries
Uses all the sales tools available to ensure customers are educated on the products, services and solutions
Achieve at least 20 site visits each month, Introduction of core technologies to target sites, promote solutions where possible
Achieves the sales & marketing targets as agreed with the Country Manager and respective Branch (product group) Managers
Maintains contacts to key accounts and promotes excellent relations to those customers (both existing and potential)
Participate in the development of marketing strategies and policies
Requirements/Profile
Education in a science related subject to degree level
